Mark E. Berg. Mr. Berg, a partner

Jonathan S. Brenner. Mr. Brenner, a partner of the firm,
graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 1980,
where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. He received his LL.M. in
Taxation from the New York University School of Law in 1984. Mr. Brenner has
over 25 years of experience advising clients on the structuring of complex
domestic and cross‑border transactions including investment funds,
mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, non‑qualified
employee compensation plans and workouts, and resolving issues involving
corporate, partnership, limited liability company, consolidated return,
original issue discount and many other provisions of the tax law. Mr. Brenner
has written and lectured extensively regarding mergers and acquisitions, spin‑offs,
consolidated returns and joint ventures. He is a member of the Committee on

Kristin
King. Ms. King, a partner of the firm, graduated from

Herbert H. Alpert. Mr. Alpert is
of counsel to the firm. He graduated from Columbia Law School in 1956 where he
was an editor of the Law Review. Prior to Mr. Alpert becoming a member of the
firm, and apart from the period during which he served in the office of Tax
Legislative Counsel, U.S. Treasury Department, Mr. Alpert was associated with
and a senior partner of Roberts & Holland for over 39 years. Mr. Alpert has
acted as lead tax counsel to some of the largest real estate developers in
North America in connection with the structuring of their various arrangements,
as well as counsel to foreign governments in connection with their tax treaty
and other negotiations. Mr. Alpert has lectured before various professional
groups and has authored numerous articles on various technical matters.

Norman Sinrich. Mr. Sinrich is
of counsel to the firm. He graduated from New York University School of Law
where he was a member of the Law Review. He subsequently earned a Master's degree
(in taxation) from New York University School of Law and served as the graduate
editor of its Tax Law Review. He has served as a Professor of Law, New York
University School of Law from 1979‑1981, has been Adjunct Professor of
Tax Law at the New York University School of Law since 198 1, has served as a
member of the Committee on Taxation of Business Entities of The Association of
the Bar of the City of New York, where he previously served as Chair of the
Subcommittee on Bankruptcy Tax Law, is also a member of the Bankruptcy Tax and
Partnership Committees of the Tax Section of the New York State Bar
Association, and a member of the Corporate Tax Committee of the Tax Section of
the American Bar Association. Before Joining Feingold & Alpert, LLP Mr. Sinrich
was a Senior Tax Partner of Chadbourne & Parke LLP and, prior to that, of
Kaye, Scholer LLP.
Mr. Sinrich is an
authority on domestic and international taxation, with extensive experience in
representing taxpayers during controversies with federal taxing authorities.
Mr. Sinrich regularly advises corporations and shareholders about the tax
consequences of mergers and other business combinations, demutualizations and
reorganizations of life insurance companies, as well as acquisitions and
dispositions of assets or stock. He also handles partnership taxation and
international taxation matters, and offers tax counseling to parties involved
in real estate matters and to individuals. He has represented a number of life
insurance companies in major federal income tax matters. He also provides tax
planning advice to individuals. Mr. Sinrich has tried cases before the United
States Tax Court and the United States Court of Federal Claims, has handled
appeals before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third
Circuit and Federal Circuit, has counseled clients in connection with petitions
before the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Sinrich has lectured on
sophisticated tax law issues for more than 35 years for organizations ranging
from the American Law Institute and the Association of the Bar of the City of
New York to the Federal Bar Association and the New York University Institute
on Federal Taxation. Over the same period, he has written dozens of articles on
the tax laws for publications as diverse as the St. John's Law Review, the Tax
Law Review, and the Journal of Corporate Taxation.

Benjamin R. White. Mr. White earned a B.A. from Tulane University and received his Juris Doctor (cum laude) from Brooklyn Law School. He earned his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University in 2009.
